Shakil Mahmud Shanto · Quality engineer · Builder · YouTuber
I test software for a living, and build my own after hours.
I'm Md Shakil Mahmud Shanto Bhuiyan. Shakil to most people, Shanto to Bangladeshi friends, and SM Shanto online. By day I work on software quality in Canadian banking. In the evenings I build small websites and apps, and on YouTube I help students who are planning to study in Canada.

About
For the last few years I've worked on the quality side of banking software. I write test automation that catches problems before customers do, wire those tests into release pipelines, and check that screens still work for people who use a keyboard or a screen reader.
I studied electrical engineering and an MBA in Dhaka, then moved to Canada for a master's in technology innovation and a graduate certificate in cloud development. Somewhere along the way I started shipping my own products. Some are live, some are half-built, and a few were experiments I learned from.
